Available
characters from the literature will be included, along with those discovered
through original observation. To ensure consistent treatment and repeatability,
all characters will be critically examined and scored from specimens, described
using standard terminology agreed upon by PIs and collaborators, and documented
with illustrations. Morphological data matrices will be compiled and edited
using
Nexus Data Editor and
WinClada (Nixon 1999). Digital images documenting character states and
data concerning the specimens they were observed in will be archived in the
online specimen database
